My parents just got their mission call in the mail today. They have been waiting for about 2 months now to receive it. There were several things that happened that held up the call. First my dad had to get his blood pressure down and was on medication for a couple weeks, then once they got their paperwork together they were having trouble with the site to send in the paperwork, then they sent it off and somehow it got lost in cyberspace. So even though their stake president sent the paperwork, the mission office didn't show that they received it. That took a couple days to figure out. Once they received it, the stake president made in error when entering the prostate levels for my dad. It was supposed to be .7 and he put 6.7. Which was a red flag. They called and alerted my parents and they saw that it was entered wrong. So that got fixed, and finally a few weeks later they have received their call to.........................
Copenhagen, Denmark! I had a pretty sure feeling that that's where they would go because that's where my dad served his mission, and when they met with one of the men from their stake who's on the mission call committee, he told them there was a need for senior couples in Denmark. So that's where they've been sent to serve. They enter the MTC on September 8th, so have the whole summer to wait. But it will be worth the wait, they will love it I'm sure. My dad always wanted to go back to Denmark someday.

Breaking News...
So as I mentioned on my last post, we went to the doctor yesterday for our ultrasound. We are pretty sure that we're having another...
...BOY!!!!
We're excited to be having a little boy. We aren't 100% certain yet that it's a boy, but we did see something there on the ultrasound, so chances are pretty good. At first I got the feeling that we were gonna have another girl, but the week before we went to the doctor, my intuition was telling me that it would be a boy. I know Jacob is very excited to have a little brother, and Kera is happy about it too. She doesn't seem too disappointed. I think they'll just love have a little baby in our home to take care of and to play with.
That's our excited news for now. I go to the hospital for a detailed ultrasound next month, and hopefully the baby will be 100% healthy. Now it's time to start figuring out boy names...Hmm, decisions, decisions. My cousin Emily suggested a real winner to me. A friend of hers from high school is having a boy and they're naming him Yah-ya. She was hoping they're joking. That probably won't be making the list.

Entertain Yourself...
Some of you may remember this smiley matching game from Christmas time. Here is one in honor of Mother's Day coming up. Now you can have something fun to do while you wait to find out what we're having! And I even updated my music list so you don't have to listen to the same boring old songs that I had on my blog forever. This is especially for you sis cuz I know you need something to do to keep yourself busy at work! :)![]()

Tomorrow...
You'll be wanting to check out my blog again soon because we find out tomorrow (hopefully) what the sex of our baby is. As long as the baby cooperates we'll find out the sex. I'm really anxious to find out what we're having, although it feels good to have the pressure off now that we have a boy and a girl already. Will Jacob be getting a little brother? Or will Kera have a new little sister? Find out tomorrow!!
