It's Official
I know I posted a few weeks back about our last ultrasound. We found out at our 16 week appt. at the doctor's office that we were probably having a boy. I went to the hospital today to do a detailed ultrasound where they measure and do tests and stuff and we are SURE that it's a boy. The baby looked really good and is measuring right where he's supposed to. So my due date is still the 23rd of September. (I'm 20 weeks along). Almost to the halfway mark! I swear in the past two weeks my stomach has doubled in size. That's what it feels like anyway. I was pleased to have a great ultrasound visit and that everything looks good. The sonographer said that he was such a great baby to scan and that he was so cute. Hmm, it was harder for me to see the "cuteness" in an ultrasound, but she sees these things all day everyday, so I'll take her word for it. If he looks anything like our other two, we'll be happy.

Kera the bike riding cowgirl
We decided to go for a walk today as a family since it was such good weather outside. As we were getting ready to go, Kera ran out to the garage on got on her bike. She asked if she could ride it on the walk. I said sure. She found her cowboy hat in the stroller and put it on. Out of the garage she rode as fast as she could with her cowboy hat yelling "yee haw!" It was hilarious. I had to get a picture of her in her get up.

Soccer Saturdays
Jacob started his spring soccer season in April. So we spend each Saturday at soccer games. Jacob made a soccer goal his first game of the season, and since then every team he's played against has been pretty competitive, and it's been harder for him to get another goal. He likes playing though, and his buddy Joseph (who's also in his kindergarten class and lives around the corner from him) is on the team with him. Jacob also started Tball this month. He's only played one game, and he has two friends from church on his team. So that makes it more fun. Jacob says he likes tball the best. I think it's because there aren't a bunch of kids fighting over the ball and he always gets to hit. Jacob isn't a real aggressive player. He'd rather do stuff where he doesn't have to fight to get a shot or a goal or whatever. He's happy playing the sports though, and he's even in karate. Next year we're scaling back and making him choose one sport! Too much of this will wear me out!

My 30th Birthday
I'm a little late in getting this posted, but I celebrated my 30th birthday on April 12th. I had a great, relaxing birthday this year. Lucky for me my birthday fell on a Saturday, so I was able to have Dave home with us. He made me breakfast in bed, then we went to Jacob's soccer game. We picked out some movies and came home and watched them. I believe we got "Dan in Real Life" and "I am Legend". I enjoyed both of them. Then I got to go to a salon and get a massage, following that Dave's sister Carrie took me to get a pedicure. We got back home and had my birthday cheesecake with the kids, then we got ready for my birthday dinner. We had a babysitter and went with Carrie and her husband Travis to a dinner theatre. The company was called "Hunt Mysteries" and the show was "A night on the Red Carpet". The show was at an Italian restaurant up in Ogden. We had a good time, and it was nice doing something that we don't normally do. The actors were pretty funny, quite cheesy, but that's to be expected. It was fun watching them make fools of themselves. Here are some pictures of us eating Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and some from the dinner show.
